Drivers and software for the Microsoft SideWinder 3D Pro for Macintosh ADB joystick. Required for use in joystick mode (position 1) outside of InputSprocket-based games.

Just leave the Game Device Editor running in the background, and it'll load game profiles accordingly as you launch games, no need for manual loading.

Remote Desktop Connection Client provides a user with a graphical interface to connect to another computer over a network connection. The user employs RDP client software for this purpose, while the other computer must run RDP server software.

The 1st download is Remote Desktop Connection Client 2.0.0.
The 2nd download is Remote Desktop Connection Client 2.1.1.

Word 4 program disk was copy protected. Because it was not possible for the user to do a backup copy, Microsoft provided 2 program disks.

To work around the copy protection, I dragged the disk contents to a hard disk, then created an image from folder using Disk Copy 6.3.3 (read only).

"Disque 1 - Programme" and "Disque 2 - Programme", image from folder, Disk Copy 6.3.3 ro.
"Utilitaires 1", "Utilitaires 2" and "Utilitaires 3", Disk Copy 4.2 disk images.

"Utilitaires 3" contains SuperPaint 1.1fp french.

This is the update for MS Office 2001 (in French). It installs beautifully over any install of MS Office 2001 - See warning below.

[Important] Do not install the 9.0.5 updater onto MS Office 2001 Unless your copy of Office is in the French language (or you want to convert your existing installed copy of MS Office 2001 to French including every Menu item)! You have been warned.

The spelling proofing works when you had already installed the complete collection of dictionaries found in the Value Pack of your Office2001 CD

Compatibility: 

System Requirements

To use Microsoft Office 2001 for Mac, you need:

Any PowerPC processor-based, Mac OS-compatible system (clock speed of at least 120 MHz recommended)
Apple Mac OS System 8.1 or later (System 8.5 or later recommended)
32MB of RAM with at least 1MB of Virtual Memory for systems prior to 9.0; 48MB of RAM with at least 1MB of Virtual Memory for systems 9.0 and later
Approximately 160MB of hard-disk space for a Drag Install; 75MB for a minimum custom install

For Emulators:

Sheepshaver under Windows Vista or Linux 64bits. You can only use an app per session. Do not close it or your system freezes.
It can work under Windows 10 by removing the Shared Library (the one not ppc )in the Extensions folder and installing the Japanese Language Pack . I've not tested this option yet.

German version of Microsoft Word 6.0 taken from the MS Select App Pool CD2 / German.

This is for anybody wanting to try the worst Word for Mac in German.
Word for Mac and Word for PC share most of the code with this release and where thus hard to bear for the Mac community back in the days - things looking just like they did in Windows - disgusting! Wink
Even more, Word 6 was reportedly full of bugs with the Mac version.

Top DL: is the installer set for 68k and PPC, a fat binary may be created too.

2nd DL: is the preinstalled app for 68k.

    Although Windows Media Player for Mac OS X supports all the variants of the Windows Media Audio 9 codec (including the Windows Media Audio 9, Windows Media Audio 9 Professional, Windows Media Audio 9 Voice, and Windows Media Audio 9 Lossless codecs), the following variants are only partially supported:
    • Windows Media Audio 9 Professional codec. Multiple channels are combined into a stereo mix during playback. Content with an audio sampling rate higher than 48 kilohertz (KHz) outputs as 48 KHz.
    • Windows Media Audio 9 Lossless codec. Content with an audio sampling rate higher than 48 KHz does not play back.
  • ITU-T G.726

MS Word 3.02. Actually in DiskCopy 4.2 (.image) format. Imaged directly from freshly unwrapped new old stock.

Compatibility: 

512k memory, 800k disk drive. Works on my Plus with system 6.08, but doesn't like Switcher (which comes on the disks). "Now supports Macintosh II".

Purchased new-in-the-box from eBay in January 2012. Opened the shrink-wrap myself. Flipped the write-protect tab before inserting into my machine. Created a Disk Copy 4.2 image on January 27, 2012.

After initial inspection, sat in climate-controlled storage for eight years due to life issues that required all vintage Mac activities to be put on ice.

Imaged again January 20, 2020.

Tag and Data checksums from 2012 and 2020 images (recorded above) match.

Disk mounts and functions flawlessly in Mini vMac.
