Here is another rarity that is known as Microsoft File 2.0a. I was fortunate to locate this in a really old floppy disk library from decades ago and miraculously the disk was still good. MS File was not very popular due its unusual interface and the fact that it was eclipsed by the enormously popular FileMaker, however some of the Mac purists out there would likely want to add this gem to their Mac Plus software collection.

Here is a zip file of Microsoft Chart 1.0 that contains a .dsk image of the original floppy which actually works. I've run into some other downloadable files for this application but due to the copy protection implemented all of them gave me problems in one form or another. This disk image contains a hidden and protected file that must be present in the same folder as the app before it will properly run. The disk image is bootable within Mini vMac and the app seems to also run properly under System 6.0.8.

This Mac included a 486 DX2 Intel CPU on a daughter card enabling it to run DOS and Windows programs natively as well as Macintosh software. This software allows you to use two buttons, and scrolling in OS9 with most USB Microsoft Mice. I seem to remember it working with 3rd party ones too.

Microsoft took this off their website recently, so I figured I would toss it up here to save others the headache I went through to find it.

Untested with anything lower than OS 8.1.
